The mount….

This is a long term review of the Auxmart mounting bracket I purchased on Amazon back in 2016. I was looking for a simple and cost effective method to attach LED fog lamps to the front bull bar on my Land Rover LR3. The bar diameter is 2″ steel so I figured that these would be a perfect fit. After reading other reviews on Amazon it seemed that the most common complaint was the bolts to attach the mount. When I received the product I did a quick test fit and knew that the stock bolts would be far too short to securely hold the mount in place. Knowing this ahead of time I didn’t waste a minute trying to attach it via the stock bolts. I ran to the local Ace Hardware and picked up a matching set of longer bolts. Once home, it only took a few minutes and I had the mounts installed and the lights securely fastened to the bull bars. A few adjustments and only minutes later I was off to the races!

The lights have been mounted now for well over 8 months and have endured several off-road excursions. Since attaching to the bull bar, the mounts have not moved the slightest bit and have needed zero maintenance. Surely this was in part due to the longer bolts I purchased which added considerably more bite than the stock ones would have.

Bottom line, I would buy these again in a heartbeat and if you do buy them, head straight to your local hardware store and grab longer bolts.
